One As One is a global community rebuilding how seafood reaches the world — so that the people who fish can live, the families who need that nutrition can afford it, and our oceans that feed us all are restored rather than depleted.
Three failures. One extractive system. One answer.
The person who catches your fish receives just 17.5 cents in every euro you spend. Four to six layers stand between the pier and the plate, and every one of them takes a share the fisher never sees.
Seafood prices have risen sharply, placing critical nutrition in the exclusivity bracket while the volume families buy continues to fall. Ordinary households are being priced out of the nutrition our oceans provide in abundance.
The living entity we treat as an inert object. For generations it has been asked to give without reciprocity — extracted from without accountability, degraded without consequence.
These are not three separate problems. They are one extractive commerce model, failing in three directions at once.
Every transaction regenerates the life of a fisher — with real equity, for the first time.
Every transaction regenerates the body of a family — with affordable, nutritional seafood protein.
Every transaction regenerates our oceans — because in this community, the planet does not only give. It receives.
And every child raised inside this community learns what our generation was never taught — that our planet is a living home, not a resource; that regeneration means giving back more than we take; and that protecting it is not a cause you join, but a responsibility you carry. Through education, play, and real connection to the water — so the next generation never has to unlearn what ours did.
"Is there anything worse than being blind?" Helen Keller was asked. "Yes," she said. "Having eyes and not being able to see."
The curtain has fallen. None of this is hidden anymore — it is simply unlooked at.
Not one of us chose this extractive B2B system. Every one of us inherited it. The fisher who cannot break the chain. The family at the counter doing arithmetic and putting the protein back. The funder, the institution, the household — all of us participating in something we did not design and cannot individually escape.
So One As One points at no one. It points at everyONE — and then it opens the door.
Because everyONE carries the same responsibility to protect this unique environment. AS ONE.
One Source. One Community. One Planet. One As One.
"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."
"For generations, those who steward the oceans have worked harder, risked more, and received less. We feed the world, yet struggle to feed our own families. At the same time, consumers are being priced out of the very nutrition the ocean generously provides. And the ocean itself is treated as an inert object — exploited without reciprocity, degraded without accountability. This is not a market inefficiency. This is a breach in our social contract."
Twenty years of government subsidies directed at the B2B extractive model. Our oceans in measurably worse condition than when it started. Understand the system that needs replacing.
One structure. Three outcomes. Source, Community, Planet — unified through direct-to-community commerce, blockchain traceability, and DAO community governance. No intermediary extraction.
From a proof-sized trial across three markets to global activation — and beyond, into the Fourth Horizon: a bridge for communities navigating the AI transition. The future, sequenced.
Coastal families, ordinary households, the next generation, and the communities who depend on the sea.
Twenty years of well-intentioned capital directed at the wrong target. The data is their own — and it tells the truth.
Between 2005 and 2025, governments worldwide directed approximately $700 billion in subsidies toward the global fishing industry. Of that, $440 billion was formally classified as capacity-enhancing — not support for coastal communities, but direct funding for industrial fleets to extract more than the ocean could replenish.
Of which $440 billion was capacity-enhancing — funding industrial fleets to fish harder, travel farther, extract more than the ocean can replenish.
Of global fisheries subsidies. Only 19% reached the small-scale fishers who steward the majority of the world's coastal waters.
Annual development assistance for sustainable fisheries is dwarfed by harmful subsidies by a factor of 63 to one.
Up from 10% in 1974. After $700 billion and fifty years of sustainability programmes, the ocean is in measurably worse condition.
In developed European chains. The person who caught your fish receives just 17.5 cents in every euro you spend.
EU household seafood expenditure rose 4% in 2024 — the third consecutive year of rising prices — while volume fell ~5%. Price is suppressing nutrition.
Global ocean philanthropy reached $1 billion annually by 2022 — genuine in intent, but channelled almost entirely into certification schemes that operate within the B2B extractive model, not outside it.
The certification toll works like this: a certification body engages retail at the top. Retail makes the certification a minimum condition of shelf access. That condition flows down the chain as a requirement — and the cost lands on the fisher, who is made to pay to re-certify quality he had already certified under government legislation.
"Much of what has been called sustainable investment has, in truth, been used to sustain dysfunction — to modernise an extractive system rather than replace it. Funding collapse, disguised as progress."
How do we take less?
It slows the rate of harm. It certifies the extraction. It makes collapse look responsible. It does not — because it cannot — eliminate the cause of harm.
How do we give back more than we take?
These are different questions. They produce different systems, require different capital, and demand different measures of success. One As One answers the second question.
The fisher earns more. The family pays less. The ocean receives a return. Every time. On every species. Without exception.
This is the Tripod: the three outcomes that flow from every OAO transaction. No hidden margins, no stacked layers, no opaque intermediaries. Every allocation is declared in advance, verified on-chain, and visible to every participant.
Of the OAO consumer price. 2.53× what the B2B chain pays. Equity to the source — the foundation of everything.
Six verified stages — landing to fulfilment. Every cost declared. Comparable to Amazon's take, with a temperature-controlled chain and full traceability.
One euro in every ten. A floor, not a ceiling. Community-governed sub-allocations: ocean restoration, education, ocean literacy, the H4 transition bridge.
Mission protection only. Never funds operations. Grown through management's obligation to scale — not a larger claim on the chain.
OAO pays the fisher 2.53 times more than the B2B chain — structurally, on every species, without exception. When spare points were found in our own structure, they went to the fisher. We Give. We Don't Take.
The B2B chain has the same six functions — landing, cold chain, processing, loading, shipping, fulfilment — but bundles them into opaque intermediary margins. OAO declares every stage, sources every rate, and holds nothing back.
The fisher and farmer retain ownership of their catch through the OAO platform. The 59% equity return is established at the point of landing. No agent commission. No middleman. Direct community relationship — the steward remains the steward.
AI-optimised refrigerated transport. IoT temperature monitoring end to end. 20–30% cost saving vs B2B through route consolidation. Verified: Mordor Intelligence 2026.
The fisher and farmer retain ownership throughout processing via the OAO platform. The processor is paid a fair toll for the work — no ownership arbitrage, no hidden margin on top. Real cost, declared and transparent.
Frozen by reefer container or chilled to LD3 for air freight. Every load traced, logged, verified. Blockchain record from this point forward.
Sea reefer for frozen. Air freight for genuinely fresh — declared openly at its honest cost. Hills and valleys in freight rates navigated transparently with the community.
Established third-party courier networks on a white-label basis during H1 — the relationship and data stay wholly within the community. Last mile cost is declared and included — not transferred invisibly to the consumer as B2B does.
40–60% of every fish landed today is downgraded into fishmeal — its nutritional value lost to the human plate, its economic value captured by processors who hold title. The fisher and farmer retain ownership of their entire catch through the OAO platform, including the side-streams.
Through partnerships with food technology innovators, the OAO community transforms these side-streams — retained in community ownership via the platform — into human-grade nutritional products. More nutrition per fish landed is the only honest arithmetic for feeding 1.2 billion more mouths by 2050 without proportionally increasing ocean extraction.
Aligned with UN SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption), and SDG 14 (Life Below Water) — this is not a pledge. It is a mechanism, deployed at the point of processing.
"Norman Borlaug fed the world by putting the seed directly in the farmer's hands — bypassing every committee and every gatekeeper. OAO does the same: the whole fish's worth returned to the fisher's hands, the community fed, and a regenerating ocean as the living proof that a better model is already working."
For the first time, the people who steward our oceans receive what they have always been owed — a fair return, a voice in governance, and ownership that cannot be taken from them.
The comparison is built on verified public data — FAO Fisheries Circular C1019 for the B2B fisher share, and your own species' retail prices from EUMOFA and live market sources. Both anchored to the same verified foundation.
The OAO equity return is not a target or an aspiration. It is structural: 59% of the OAO consumer price flows to the fisher or aquaculture farmer on every transaction, every species, every market. The arithmetic is built in — it cannot invert.
The FAO Fisheries Circular C1019 documents the verified average fisher share in developed European chains. OAO pays 2.53 times that figure — structurally, always.
From Atlantic cod and Norwegian salmon to Galician octopus and Mediterranean seabream — the full range of what European families buy weekly, all carrying the same equity guarantee.
H1 trial across Iberia, the UK and the Netherlands will generate the verified, per-species transaction data that makes the equity claim not a proposition — but a fact on the ground.
"The comparison is built on verified public data — FAO, EUMOFA, and live market sources. We know the numbers. When the White Paper launches and the H1 trial delivers, every figure will be published openly. The only argument anyone can have will be with their own institutional data."
Every OAO community member has a voice in how the Regeneration pot is directed — ocean restoration, education, the H4 transition bridge. Not a committee's decision. Yours.
The fisher and farmer retain ownership of their catch through the OAO platform from landing to fulfilment. The entire fish — including by-products and side-streams — remains in community hands. Not the processor's. Not the wholesaler's. Yours.
We pay processors fairly for the work they do. We do not give them ownership of what you caught. If processors resist, OAO will build its own facilities. The community holds the switch.
"If those who produce food cannot afford food, and those who need food cannot access it — the model is broken. We must replace the model."
25% lower prices. True origin on every purchase. Frozen or fresh — declared. The right to know, restored to the family at the counter.
The OAO consumer price is not a promotional offer or a discounted line. It is the natural outcome of removing the intermediary layers that today extract value between the fisher and the family. The saving is structural — and it compounds weekly.
The 25% reduction is not absorbed from margin that does not exist — it is released by removing the four to six intermediary layers whose combined take has always sat between the fisher's landing price and the family's counter price. The same fish. The same ocean. A shorter, honest chain.
Genuine fresh carries a legitimate premium — air freight, short shelf life, careful handling. OAO costs it honestly and declares it openly. What you see is what it costs.
Frozen or fresh — declared on every transaction. The product form you receive is exactly what was described. The practice of defrosting and relabelling as fresh has no place in the OAO model.
Where it was landed, by whom, and what they were paid — visible on every transaction. The right to know, finally available at the point of sale, not hidden behind an unmarked counter.
A frozen product — at a frozen cost base — is defrosted and placed on the fresh counter at the fresh retail price. The markup is pocketed. You are not told. Average markup concealed: €17.37/kg across key species.
At the physical fresh counter, origin is frequently absent, unclear, or hard to verify. Imported product is sold at domestic-premium prices. The consumer has no way to know — and often overpays by €6–20/kg as a result.
"A mother stands at a seafood counter doing arithmetic. The protein her family needs is right there. But the price carries games she cannot see. So she puts it back. This happens millions of times a day, worldwide. OAO ends it — not by lecturing, but by showing."
One As One exists for five groups, bound together by the Tripod Model — none served without all of them being served together.
Generational fishing and aquaculture farming communities across the world — families who have worked these waters for generations, historically receiving only a fraction of the value their catch creates once it reaches the plate. One As One exists to return that value directly to them, and to protect the knowledge and way of life passed down through those generations.
Families are being priced out of the nutrition our oceans provide in abundance. Rising prices have placed a foundational protein source further out of reach each year, even as the volume households can afford continues to fall. One As One's mission begins with restoring that access — not as a discount, but as the natural outcome of removing what stands between the ocean and the family table.
A community only protects what it understands, and understanding has to be taught, not assumed. One As One is building ocean literacy and food education for the next generation — through gaming, play, and real connection to where their food comes from — so regeneration is inherited as a responsibility, not corrected for as a mistake.
Communities dependent on the sea carry both its abundance and its risk. One As One is built to strengthen the economic dignity and generational renewal of these communities — supporting the people who steward the water as neighbours, not suppliers.
One As One is not a company serving a customer base. It is a community that governs itself — every member holds a voice in how the community's shared resources are directed. This is ownership in practice, not principle.
From three trial markets and sixty containers to a global regenerative commerce community — and beyond, into a Horizon the whole world is approaching.
Each Horizon builds on the proof of the last. H1 is not a small version of the model — it is the validation engine that makes every subsequent claim credible. A trial sized to the evidence it must generate. Real data. The fact on the ground that cannot be argued with.
Proof of concept and data accumulation across three markets. 6–12 full container loads across a curated six-species core, with 500–1,000 participating households per market tracked over a minimum of 90 days.
Expanding across the full EU and UK. Platform proven. Community growing. Revenue diversifying into education and gaming. Processor partnerships deepened. Greenfield processing evaluated.
Global activation. Autonomous last-mile delivery. Whole-fish valorisation at scale. Processing integration. Gulf/MENA and North America expansion. The Regeneration pot scales — commerce multiplying the penny into planetary recovery.
Beyond H3 lies the Horizon the whole world is approaching. As AI reshapes value chains, the Regeneration pot — already funded on every transaction — enables the community to support those whose roles change: retraining, upskilling, redeployment. Purpose, not dependency.
10% is the floor. The community may vote it higher as the model scales. Here is what it compounds into across the Horizons — from verified market penetration assumptions, their own TAM data.
"The speed of human need — weekly, recurring, unstoppable — is the same force that funds the regeneration. Every family meal. Every week. The penny that multiplies into planetary recovery."
Mission custody. Permanent. Cannot be redirected by commercial interests. The Mission Integrity Safeguard ensures the model remains what it was founded to be — regardless of scale.
EU-registered. H1 trial platform. Accesses the full EU funding corridor — EMFAF and Horizon Europe — plus Irish seafood-specific governmental capital.
All revenue flows settled in fiat. The DAO token governs how the community directs its Regeneration allocation — and carries no revenue assumption. Governance, not speculation.
